Raise Your Vibrations ~ Self- Care Meditation - Blog Post 11

I spent some time with my locs today.  It's been a little over two months since I did a re-twist. Imagine a thick layer of curly new growth, now twisted up with love and energy. 

[My morning flowed like this.]

I woke up with major thoughts of manifesting higher frequency. Operating at a higher level, raising my vibrations. I would have never thought the loc re-twist I did today would turn into the perfect therapy session. A meditation that flowed with confirmations and wisdom. 

Let's start at the wash. 

The water ran through my hair, flowing through each loc. The shower water starts to connect with my scalp, the energy from the water FLOW felt so beautiful.

I close my eyes and take in the moment. I refresh my locs with conditioner. I allow my hands to gently go in between each loc, while taking time to massage my scalp with the tip of my fingers. I part my drenched hair in two, the water starts to flow, taking the path of my middle part. My two hands start to work together to wring one side at a time dry, I focus on my breathing. With each wring, I take some air in my nose, and out through my mouth. AND in that moment my meditation experience began.

After the last wring, I open my eyes, and take in the new energy. The rinse and wash of my loc's released old energy. My clean, refreshed loc's brought both rejuvenation and clarity. 

I parted my hair to begin my re-twist. I felt it. As soon as my hands touched my scalp, I felt the energy. I connected with the energy. As my finger twisted the first loc, the connection was this;  to vibrate higher, to raise my vibrations. My hair is an extension of my energy, and each time I re-twist my locs, I connect and feel my energy growth. I feel the energy power as my hands wrap around each loc ~ starting at the root, and twirling down to the end, allowing me to connect and embrace the energy flow. The feeling is spectacular. 

I take a deep breath in as I finish twisting the last loc, then a deep meaningful breath out. My hands slowly start to disconnect and let go. My energy is vibrating~

I'm vibrating higher. I can feel it. My vibrations and energy flow is floating. I'm attracting what I have manifested. I continue this moving mediation flow~ 

The moment is still and steady, the music-playing in the background gave me yet another sign that manifestation and meditation exists, and the power of my mind is capable of creating my reality. [This is so deep, but these are the thoughts that came out while re-twisting my hair.] I finish my hair, I'm floating with internal energy. Next~

Tea. A nice hot cup of peppermint tea. The thought of the taste, the thought of the smell alone is raising my vibrations higher. I make my way to the kitchen to prepare a fresh cup, I sit on the couch, and enjoy it. 

My loc re-twist days is a steady flow. New energy has been made. This meditative energy that happens when I connect with my hair, with my roots is extraordinary. It puts my body at ease, It's my slow -down, it's my self connection, it's my inner peace. 

AND the thoughts that came out of today's flow~ was this. 

You have the power to vibrate higher, float higher. Attract it. It's in your power to operate at a higher frequency. Confirmation.
