it is what it is ~ at iwi Fresh Farming Spa!

If your looking for a spa in Atlanta. iwi fresh is a must go experience! I took my husband for his birthday, ( I wanted to surprise him with a little razzle dazzle, a new experience, something fresh and natural, and I wanted him to be catered to on his day). In search of a natural spa, I discovered iwi Fresh Farming Spa. Let me tell you, I felt the love and good energy from the start. 

This is how my experience at iwi fresh went down: 

First: 

I scheduled an appointment for  2 facials , and 2 pedicures (side note:: my husband is particular about his feet, and this was his first experience getting a pedicure. Before finding iwi I searched for places that would give him the best experience). After making my appointment I called and confirmed the date and time. Yaya answered the phone with her bright personality and I instantly felt good energy and knew I made the best choice by choosing to have a spa day at iwi. Let me tell you, the customer service at iwi fresh is spectacular! 

Day of: 

The spa is located in Downtown Atlanta, on Nelson st. We had our appointment at 10AM so parking was nice and easy to find. My husband and I arrive full of high vibes and good energy, as soon as we opened the door to enter iwi fresh we heard "Welcome to iwi!",  "Welcome to iwi", "Welcome to iwi fresh farming spa" from voices near and far. I love that because it set the tone for the experience. AND let me tell you, the experience was everything!!!! 

Walking into iwi you just feel such good vibes. There's green all around you that vibrates good energy. The spa is full of plants, tall, small, and so full of life. My husband was in heaven y'all, in his element with all the natural, earthy energy. 


The Facial 

Veggie Facial time! 

My husband and I both start off with a 30 minute Signature Veggie Facial. My husband went into one room and I went in another space. The esthetician prepared my facial with fresh natural ingredients straight from the farm ya'll. She took me down the hall into a room full of plants surrounding the service table, and she says "welcome to the jungle". It was a total oasis and I knew then that the next 30 minutes was for sure going to relax me. AND it did! 

If you've never had a face massage, or experienced a facial, then you have to visit iwi fresh. My facial massage was everything, it relaxed my whole body. The natural products used had my face feeling bright, fresh, and so clean. The best part y'all, I ended the facial with fresh veggies all over my face. The feeling of fresh veggies on your face instantly makes your face feel clean and revitalized. Imagine how fresh cucumbers are, then picture the moisture that comes from the cucumbers once it's sliced, then picture how clean a cucumber makes you feel once eaten. Well that same experience is what I felt after receiving a Veggie facial at iwi fresh. My face felt so clean, and full of natural moisture. I was glowing y'all! 

My husband had the same experience. We finished our facials at the same time. Let me tell ya'll, when I seen this man I married. I seen his face. I was like..... come herrrre! The way the facial enhnaced and brightened his sexy brown skin,  omg ya'll I was like "iwi fresh did that!". He was glistening and smiling from ear to ear, safe to say his facial experience was everything! 


The Pedicure


A waterless pedicure! Never heard of it, and my very first time experiencing it. Wow ya'll! My feet had never EVER had something so special. 

This is how our pedicure started. Mya, oh I love Mya the nail tech! She is full of such good energy, she was so down to earth, personable, and expressed great customer service. Mya started off by handing my husband and I a cup, then directed us to the herb bar. She said, "pick, and pack your cup with all the ingredients you would like in you foot mask". 

I selected charcoal, oats , turmeric (because it makes my skin feel and look amazing), and mint! 

My husband put just about everything in his cup! 

I'll end this by saying the pedicure was very relaxing, the products that iwi fresh makes leaves your feet feeling brand new + rejuvenated. Your skin will shine with moisture. 

Side note: We went on Saturday, and enjoyed a few mimosas while getting our pedicures. 


My Review

Safe to say my experience at iwi was super special! Everything I expected from a spa and more! I love the fact that they use fresh ingredients and I hope you take my word for it, schedule you and your man a facial + pedicure at iwi fresh farm spa in Atlanta.

Dreams~ I often find myself waking up remembering my dream from the night before. It's as if I travel to a new dimension while my eyes are closed. One day in undergrad, I asked my philosophy professor, "Mr. Dawson, I keep having these dreams with my grandmother in it, she passed away, and I can always remember her face, as if she was trying to communicate with me, what does that mean?".  His response was this.   I had built a deep connection with my grandmother while her physical was here on this earth, and when she passed, I still had a connection with her soul. So in my dreams when she comes, the higher power or God is trying to get me to pay attention to something or listen up. So the spirit sends my grandmother as an illusion for me to pay attention.  That's deep. Lately I've been having dreams of me living at this house, cabin like, but there's a beach in the backyard. Taking Meaningful Showers ~ Naked Body Love ~ Blog Post 15

 6AM came fast, the sun still down and outside still dark. I took a nice peaceful, and relaxing shower. The morning is quiet and still, I start the water, turning it to the hottest level. I hop in.
